About Aeonium velour
Aeonium velour is one of the most distinctive succulents in the Crassulaceae family. Its origin is in Canary Islands and North Africa. It is characterized by terminal rosettes on long stalks, an evolutionary adaptation that makes it a unique piece in the world of succulents.
At Succulentae we produce Aeonium velour with artisanal technique in southeastern Spain, following a cultivation protocol that replicates the sun, dryness and mineral conditions of its native habitat. This produces stronger specimens, with intense coloration and compact form, ready to join your collection.

Light
Very bright, indirect or filtered light. Ideal near a south or east window.
Water
Water when the substrate is completely dry. In summer every 1-2 weeks, let it rest in winter (every 3-4 weeks or less).
Substrate
Mineral substrate with high drainage: pumice, akadama and a little peat. We ship it ready in its substrate — no repotting needed for 12-18 months.
