About Avonia p 2apyracea
Avonia p 2apyracea, of the Anacampserotaceae family, originates in South Africa and Namibia and has spread to home cultivation thanks to its beauty and resilience. The most striking thing about this plant is stems covered in silvery papery scales, a feature that defines its personality and sets it apart within its genus.
At Succulentae we grow every Avonia p 2apyracea directly in our nursery in southeastern Spain, in conditions of intense sun, low humidity and mineral substrate that replicate its natural habitat. The result: more compact, better colored and more resilient plants than those grown in artificial greenhouses.
