About Alas de Angel Opuntia microdasys
Alas de Angel Opuntia microdasys is a cactus of the Cactaceae family, native to the Americas (from Canada to Argentina). It is characterized by flat paddle-shaped segments · spines + glochids, an evolutionary adaptation that makes it a unique piece in the world of succulents.
At Succulentae we produce Alas de Angel Opuntia microdasys with artisanal technique in southeastern Spain, following a cultivation protocol that replicates the sun, dryness and mineral conditions of its native habitat. The result: more compact, better colored and more resilient plants than those grown in artificial greenhouses.
