About Adenium rojo big
Known in botany as Adenium rojo big, this succulent belongs to the Apocynaceae family and comes from East Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. It stands out for a thickened caudex at the base that stores water, a peculiarity that has fascinated botanists and enthusiasts for generations.
We grow Adenium rojo big at Succulentae, in the heart of the Almería desert, where the dry Mediterranean climate replicates the ideal conditions for the plant to develop its compact form and best coloration. It's the difference between a succulent grown under real sun and a greenhouse one — and it shows in shape, color and longevity.
