Euphorbia horrida monstruosa is a succulent of the Euphorbiaceae family, native to mainly Africa and Madagascar. The most striking thing about this plant is convergent evolution with cacti: fleshy body with spines, a feature that defines its personality and sets it apart within its genus.
Every specimen of Euphorbia horrida monstruosa from Succulentae is grown outdoors in our Almería nursery, exposed to desert sun and controlled mineral watering. The result: more compact, better colored and more resilient plants than those grown in artificial greenhouses.
